hey everyone! i'm sure everyone is wondering where in the world i went to. well. i'm still here!

it's been a rough last 3 months or so for my family and i and i've been taking more time to spend with them and less time on here. i had come to realization that i was spending way too much time wrapped up in my world and my work and not enough time with my wife and children. and it was becoming evident. so i've basically been on an art break.

we've had a few scares over the course of the last couple of months as well. one of the twins, landon, had been weezing and having coughing fits for a few weeks. the first time we went to the doctor she just prescribed him some kind of antibiotic or something that didn't work at all. so we went to another doctor and ended up she put him on breathing treatments for a couple of weeks. she gave us a machine to do at home. but after a couple of weeks of that he is doing great and is happier than ever!!

wyatt, the other twin, lol is doing great as well. he was having some problems with his neck for a while where he couldn't turn his head all the way. and it was actually from landon sitting on him while amy was pregnant! go figure!! haha. but after some physical therapy sessions he is 100% better and has no problems at all!

audrey, is doing awesome and is excited for santa to show up! she is spongebob obsessed. and will stop whatever she is doing anytime day or night to watch spongebob. which is odd cause she is only 2-1/2 yrs. old...and surely she can't understand everything that's going on in the show...cause i hardly ever do! nevertheless she loves it! haha.

natalie, the oldest, is just growing up too fast. that's all there is to it. she's not longer the chubby cheeked baby with a lisp. haha. she's now in second grade and thinks she's old enough for college! her new interest is chess. she still doesn't completely understand the game, but she understands enough that she loves playing it. so we play when we can. she enjoys things other girls do as well barbies, polly pocket...the whole nine yards.

amy is just amazing to me. i don't know how she does it. she goes 24/7 with this kids and still manages to find time to be a wonderful amazing wife. god has blessed me so much to have her. most women with 4 kids seem like they are going to go crazy. but she somehow can keep it together. but needless to say she is always happy when i get home from work to help with the kids. lol.

as for me, i am doing well been better but i'm hanging in there. i had a very bad scare a few weeks ago. i was just sitting at my computer when i gradually began to notice a spot in my vision in my right eye. over the course of a few minutes it intensified to where i couldn't even see out of it. obviously this scared me to death as my eyes are everything. after about 20 minutes it subsided and everything was back to normal. 4 days went by and it happened again right after a flash on a camera went off. this time it didn't last near as long. i quickly made an appointment with my ophthalmologist. after several tests everything came out fine. and it turned out to just be ocular migraines. i have only had one since then so hopefully they will stay at bay. the first time it happened i immediately panicked. all these thoughts start racing through your head 1,000 miles an hour. like, "will i be blind forever??", "is it a brain tumor?" lol. but when you panic like that you always expect the worse.

my main job that i work at as a graphic designer/cad have eliminated all overtime at the present moment which is gradually taking it's toll on us and causing us a little bit of a cash crunch. nothing we can't handle but it's just keeping us from doing a lot of the fun things we like to do as a family. they said it wouldn't stay this way for much longer and that things would pick back up. they just had a solid two months with barely any sales and it's playing catchup with them. so they have to cut where they can. at least they kept my salary in tact. haha. it could have been much worse. i unfortunately had to forfeit my portion of the rent on my art studio due to all this. so the girl i was sharing it with now has more room than she can handle....but she's renting off the other half to other people that needs space for projects etc.

because of the cash crunch i haven't been able to afford to send out the christmas cards this year either. i had money set aside to cover that cost and of course it has now been sucked up dry. i really apologize for this because i wanted to be able to send everyone a card but as it stood it would have been anywhere from 3-400 dollars for postage to send everyone a card. so anyway, i have uploaded our family picture as a christmas card to everyone here on deviant art. it is from my family to yours and it is our hope that everyone has a wonderful joyous holiday season this year and a happy new year and that 2008 will be the best year yet!!!!!!
